Extra virgin olive oil is a cornerstone of the Mediterranean diet and one of the most celebrated “superfoods” dating back to antiquity. It is also one of the most adulterated foods on our plates. Increasingly, it is being made in industrial ways which degrade soils, overlook communities, and lower its nutritional value. In a landscape like this, sustainability isn't enough.

Refillable, reusable, returnable, recyclable.

We minimise our impact with reusable bottles and lighter refill pouches, which we take back for recycling to create a more circular model. Plus, we work with Notpla (winners of the 2022 Earthshot Prize) for our zero-waste, single-serve pipettes and are committed to constantly improving the sustainability of our packaging.

Championing women in agriculture.

Women face cultural, technical, and financial barriers in agriculture: we want to tear these down and offer women equal opportunities in the olive oil space. By working with groves that are at least 50% female-led and telling the stories of our producers, we aim to redress the imbalance, to bring equity to land ownership and our food chain while discovering truly exceptional EVOO.
